(Academic) citation is a representational practice of hollow, ruined potential professional accumulation of intellectual capital.
In the beginning was the Word. And the Word is encoded in Biblios. This is the adage every Clerk of Reference knows by heart—an utterance so sacred it sources itself endlessly. or
There are no beginnings nor ends nor the right words to separate them. The only truth the great susurration of collective thought. This is an idea that subsumes all tethers, a foundation that moves— that shapes—that is shaped by all other un- truths.
